We’re celebrating “The King’s” birthday tonight at the DeSoto Civic Center, as the Mississippi Riverkings look to continue their winning streak!
No, no… not THAT king. But THE KING – Elvis Presley! And Elvis will be there performing LIVE for all the Riverking (& King) fans! Well, of course it’s not the real Elvis – but he’s the next best thing – Cody Slaughter!
I’ve heard this guy’s CD and have seen him in person with the gimmick on and I must say – he looks just like a young Elvis Presley. Heck, just look at the promotional poster.
Also, not only will Cody be singing and performing for everyone in attendance, but I’ll be geared up like The King, as well! Just wait until you see what I have in store! I might make my momma blush!
I’ve been waiting for tonight for several months. I’ve gotten permission from EP Enterprises to show off my jump-suit and woo some of the ladies by giving away my scarf!
Hmm… what should I do? Wrestle in Dyersburg or Ripley? Or… dress up like Elvis Presley and perform in front of THOUSANDS of rabid Riverking fans?! I think it’s a pretty easy decision!

Also, there will be tons and tons of pictures posted from this event. It’s huge every year and I’m glad to be a part of it, this year.
I don’t know how many of you are actually hockey fans – but it really doesn’t matter. I know many of the fans show up to watch the fights. And you know what they say about hockey – you show up for the fight and a hockey game breaks out!
