Since the original blog was posted (HERE), we’ve had a few different comments regarding who Randy “The Ram” Robinson reminded you of. I’m of the belief that we didn’t have more comments for the mere fact that not everyone has seen the movie just yet. But the comments that we received regarding your thoughts on who “The Ram” reminds you of, well – I’m with you one hundred percent.
A few of the names that were posted were Jerry Lynn, Tracy Smothers and Ricky Morton. One person even pointed out that many of today’s wrestlers have a little bit of “Ram” in them. I could agree with that, as well. Striving every week of their lives to make it to the top… only to be let down over and over again. I won’t be in this business too much longer for the simple fact that I don’t want to be viewed in that same light.
I have met Jerry Lynn on numerous occasions and I can say that Randy “The Ram” looks like Lynn… but I don’t get that vibe when I’m around Lynn. Lynn is a very successful wrestler even to this day. So, that’s a little stretch for me to believe. Tracy Smothers and Ricky Morton, on the other hand, I can totally see that. (more…)
