If Brickhouse Brown ever sees this blog, he’d probably kill me for posting this picture of him. It’s almost a rib. It’s so old and he’s so young. But to tell you the truth, it’s the ONLY Brickhouse Brown picture I could find when I Googled his name. But, that’s for another blog altogether.
I don’t remember where I saw it, but I ran across the trailer for Brickhouse Brown’s brand new shoot tape. That’s right! In the middle of a business where everyone’s tearing one another’s head off because of kayfabe and The Wrestler movie… we’re still putting out shoot tapes like it’s nobody’s business!
I never get to see the actual shoot interviews until they come out in full on YouTube. I put them on my iPod instead of buying them. But this is certainly one that I can’t wait to see.
I’ve heard some of Brick’s stories and lemme tell ya this – he’s got some good ones. I was fortunate enough to be able to hang with Brick during my early wrestling years. I got the chance to know him and he’s a very cool guy. He’s a little sly, I have to admit. Well… actually, he’s very sly. I remember seeing Brick leave a town on foot because the police showed up looking for him at a show. But anyway, you’ll see that slyness in the preview for his upcoming shoot interview. (more…)
