WrestleMania-Bound

I caught a few bits and pieces of RAW, last night. I was excited to see and hear a few of the things that were going on. Not because we’ve never seen it before but simply because now I have a vested-interest in WrestleMania.

Well, what do you mean, Five Starr?  How do you have a vested-interest in the biggest show of the year?  Why would you care if The Undertake wrestles HBK at WrestleMania?  Why would you care that the WWE is pitting Randy Orton and Triple H against one another on the grandest stage of them all?  Do tell, do tell, Five Starr!

Well, its official. Its guaranteed. Its set, stamped and being delivered, so to speak.

“Midnight Gold?”

I might as well jump on this subject while it’s still fresh.  It’s been announced on RRONews.com that there has been a new tag team formed.  One of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time – hands down – has teamed up with “The Golden Boy” Greg Anthony.  The tag team will be managed by Brian Thompson and will collectively be known as “Midnight Gold”.  They posted a promo HERE.  So, take a look at it – come back – and continue reading.

Where should I start?

I’ll start with the good.  The positives.  I love me some Bobby Eaton.  I have always liked “Beautiful” Bobby.  He’s great.  I do honestly think he’s one of the best tag team performers of all time.  I love the way they posted the promo with the phone number.  They can post it everywhere on the web and probably get some good bookings.  I love that it was all done in character.  It actually shows that Brian Thompson can cut a promo, which I didn’t know he could really do.  It couldn’t have been done better.

I only have one question – why Greg Anthony?
