Dustin Starr – The Starr Treatment

Dustin Starr v/s Christian Jacobs

I’ve discussed this guy many, many times on this blog. Especially, recently. A guy who just never seems to get the breaks he needs. A guy who just never seems to get the stories he needs to take the step to the next “level”. Those of you who watch wrestling religiously know exactly what I’m talking about. That one moment that solidifies you as an actual contender within any company you wrestle. The way the fans look up to you as being “the guy”.

Being hidden in tag teams. Being hidden behind someone else that prevents you from breaking out into your own mold… It really hurts you and your wrestling career. This guy needs to prove that not only is he just as good as his partners, but he needs to prove that he’s better than those partners.

How, though? How can he do that? Who can help him? Give me three solid weeks of action and I will help him do that. I’m dying to. I’m begging to. When I’m done with Stan Lee, I want to see this match:

DUSTIN STARR v/s CHRISTIAN JACOBS!!

Who looks better than this guy, physically? No one. Who has a better look than his guy? He’s over with the people. They love him. It would be so simple and I’m the man for the job. “Girl Candy” deserves a little spotlight, as I believe he’s one of the premier wrestlers inthe area. He’s just been somewhat hidden. To me, anyway.

Christian was one of the very first people I ever met in this business. He wrestled as Viper. I believe he had a tag partner, whom has quit he business, named Kade. They were managed by Coach BT (Brian Tramel). Collectively, they were known as The Riot Squad. To say that the guy has changed dramatically over the years is an understatement, for sure. From bald ad skinny to pumped up and actually decent looking (hey, now – I can’t give him TOO many kudos!) He has done a great job changing his look and becoming a better professional.

Maybe I see a lot of him in me. We are both hungry. We both need it so badly. We have both come from so far to where we are today. Not to mention, I think we both deserve it so badly. Then again, maybe I just wanna see what he’s got?

Someone please book it…

Eric Wayne – CARELESS

greg king jr injuryOne word can describe what happened on Friday night in West Memphis, Arkansas during the New Experience Wrestling event. One word and one word only. I’ve heard it from everyone who witnessed it live. Even after hearing the response from Eric Wayne himself, regarding this situation – I still stand by that word. And it’s a tough one. It’s tough in this business to be described this way.  It’s definitely a knock.  It’s definitely a negative way to be viewed in a business where you give your body to another individual and hope that he takes care of it.

Folks, Eric Wayne is simply CARELESS.

If you do not yet know what I’m talking about, take a look at the original story by clicking HERE.  Rasslin Riot Online was in the building and witnessed the injury live and in living color.  When the injury happened, RRO editor Brian Tramel actually Tweeted from the event, “Eric Wayne with a stiff kick puttin Greg King out king may be out of tourny it looked king broke his nose”.

Greg King wishes Eric Wayne only broke his nose. (more…)
