We have lost one of the greatest performers of all time. One of the most famous people to ever live. Whether you’re a fan of his or not – he’s arguably one of the most well-known celebrities in the world’s history. A man who is more recognizable than Hulk Hogan (IMO).
Michael Jackson has passed away at age 50.
What were you thinking when you heard this news? Were you like me? You thought it was a publicity stunt? False reporting? Just thought that it couldn’t be real? Shocked? All of those thoughts went thru my head at the same time. Then, I thought I would cry – but wasn’t sure if it were even true.
The death was confirmed on TMZ.com but not anywhere else. I believe TMZ went out on a limb… It supported the weight of the major news. They were right. When everyone else was being optimistic, they called it right off the bat. I read TMZ and texted Derrick King, my dear friend and fellow MJ-mark. He quickly corrected me. CNN wasn’t confirming the news because The King of Pop was indeed still alive!
Sorry, DK. I hated it as much as you. But Michael was dead all along.
Like Elvis Presley, The King of Rock n Roll, Michael Jackson had a roller coaster life. Just like that of an old-school wrestling veteran. The rise to fame and fortune. Then, the decline into irrelevency. Bad publicity swarmed MJ everywhere he went. Money issues brought Michael back. For one of the most famous people in the world, he sure did struggle thru the last few years.
Now, everyone will be consumed with “How?” And “Why?” Well, the autopsy has leaked to the internet already. And it’s pretty disturbing. Check out what is being reported by the The Sun:
Not only did they say Michael Jackson was a virtual skeleton, weighing in at a tiny 112 pounds… but he was bald, scarred had broken ribs from CPR. Apparently, Michael was not only in no condition to perform, but he’d been on the road to death for quite a while. When I Tweeted that I was afraid it would be suicide, I may have hit the nail right on the head. I hope I’m wrong… but The Sun reports that there were only pills found in his stomach at the time of his death.
“His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds — believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years. And a mass of surgery scars were thought to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations.”
I won’t quote everything here, because you should click to their site to read it all – it’s very interesting. Especially, for a hardcore fan like myself. I know he’s a weird guy and had major problems – but I’m still a fan. The Sun even goes as far as to say that he was BALD when he passed. Merely “peach fuzz” was found on his scalp. He had been wearing a wig… WHAAA? I’m shocked!
Disturbing. Disgusting. Spooky. It all further confirms that Michael Jackson was a weirdo. But he was still the greatest performer of all time. The King of Pop. Had the greatest outfits of all time. More hits than you could count.
I wore my Michael Jackson shades Saturday night in Newbern, TN in remembrance. Maybe I will pull the diamond-studded glove out, as well.
I will miss Michael Jackson.
