After reviewing exactly what it takes in order to get where you need to be body wise, I thought I’d follow up with a few tips that are very helpful to me. Some of this stuff is very elementary. But that’s what really works – the basics. Yeah, you have to have drive, dedication, commitment… But you also have to have the knowledge. Hopefully. At least ONE of these tips will help you along the way.
Let’s get started, shall we?
EATING YOUR MEALS: Recently, I’ve been eating five to six meals per day. This has helped me in my fat loss just as much as the cardio has. My tips are pretty simple, but they work.
- Get on schedule. You need to know ahead of time not only what you’re going to eat, but also WHEN you’re going to eat it. Job gets in the way? Typical. That’s the problem with everyone. Take a short break to eat your meal or drink your shake – just like a smoke break!
- Plan ahead. I know what I’m going to eat and when I’m going to eat it every single day. Sure, we mess up and miss meals. But it is also very simple to carry your food with you and make those meals. The frequency is very important.
- Another very important tip for those of you who can not eat the five meals per day – or if you struggle with it… Eat smaller portions! If you plan to eat two grilled chicken breasts and a cup of brown rice – you may need to cut back to two grilled breasts and a HALF a cup of brown rice! I typically never cut back on the protein. That’s important for building muscle! (more…)
As promised, I’m here to help you all out with a few health tips. Mainly, training and nutritional tips that have worked for me. Now, keep in mind – I am not a certified personal trainer. Nor am I an expert in the health field in any way. I’m just a professional wrestler who’s been building and manipulating my body for over twelve years. Altering my eating, training and regimen altogether to look how I want to look has been a very good learning experience that I’d like to share with all of you.
I’ve gotten a lot of attention as of late because of the change in my appearance. Those who witness me in suit and tie always ask about how thin my face looks. Those who see me in street clothes notice a difference in my waist and arms. Just a leaner looking person, I assume. And those who see me in the ring or the pictures on this site, well – you notice the overall difference. Especially, in my stomach. I’ve heard all of those things over and over again.
After writing one of the highest viewed blogs in recent weeks, “
It seems that there’s a pretty big buzz making its way thru the Mid-South wrestling world. Elite Wrestling Entertainment out of Ripley, TN canceled their regularly scheduled wrestling show resulting in the fact that fans did not show up for the event. Pretty amazing, huh? I’ve never seen anything like this happen in Ripley, TN. It has always been a show / event that’s very well attended. I never saw this coming, for sure.
Mississippi Riverkings hockey kicks back off tonight, October 9th at the DeSoto Civic Center! The puck drops at 7:05 to kick off the preseason!
All of a sudden, there have been several wrestler columns popping up all over the internet. Specifically speaking, on RRONews.com, you can find columns from Greg Anthony, Max Corbin, Downtown Bruno and even Eric Wayne. Not to mention, you get columns every now and again from Brian Thompson and whoever else decides to send one in. Sometimes, Brian Tramel at Rasslin Riot will post anything that will stir a little trouble. Well, I’m here to tell you that not everything that’s posted is worth reading.

Sometimes your comments even give me hints on what to blog about next. You guys are all very supportive and have been rooting me on for the longest. Maybe one of these days it’ll pay off.
Maybe it’ll be one day VERY soon.
