On Tuesday, July 31st at Hollywood Casino Tunica, I am proud to announce that I will be playing in a celebrity & local leader’s charity poker tournament! Not only am I excited to be a part of an event that brings awareness to responsible gaming, but I’m even more thrilled to be playing for my charity of choice…

The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis!

“The All In for Responsible Gaming Hollywood Casino Charity Poker Tournament 2012” invited me to participate in this event & I am very grateful for this opportunity to help my community not only recognize the importance of responsible gaming but it allows me to help one of the most important charities in the entire Memphis area.

For those of you unaware, The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis serves as a “home-away-from-home” for families with children who are being treated for cancer & other catastrophic illness at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. All families stay at The Ronald McDonald House free of charge.

I have been friends with “The House” and their representatives for quite some time, dating back to my time with the local hockey team. We worked together to bring the entire team, coach & mascot out to meet the families on-hand. It was a great experience for all.

Hopefully, a victory & donation from myself & Hollywood Casino would help contribute something very special for those children & families, during their stay.

For more information on The Ronald McDonald House & how else they help serve families in need, go to The Official Website of The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis

Those of you who would like to attend, donate or take part in this event, head out to Hollywood Casino Tunica at 1150 Casino Strip Resorts Blvd. Tunica Resorts, MS 38664. Game starts at 10AM!

I hope to see you out there!

And by the way, anyone know how to play poker?? Haha!
