NPC Jr. Nationals BreakdownWith the NPC Jr. Nationals only four days away, statistics are starting to surface on just how big this year’s competition is going to be. The numbers are staggering & shows just how the fitness world comes together to showcase their hard work.

As you can see by the graphic, Men’s Physique has taken over in a span of two short years as being the largest draw in the men’s categories. With 138 competitors, Men’s Physique towers over Men’s Bodybuilding, which only has 70 competitors.

I will be competing alongside my fellow USPlabs Athlete Chad Demchik in Men’s Physique. We certainly have our work cut out for us.

On the women’s side, Bikini & Figure are most popular for competitors. Those two divisions seem to be much more appealing to the ladies than Bodybuilding or Women’s Physique, which seem to need more bulk to successfully compete in.

Thanks to JM Manion & his Around the NPC & IFBB page on Facebook, we have a pretty good feel for what we are in store for, this weekend. A very long contest that will showcase 557 total athletes on one of the largest Pro-Qualifying stages of the year – NPC Jr. Nationals.

Be sure to follow every bit of the action on Twitter via @MuscularDevelop.

Best wishes to each & every competitor.
